An intriguing challenge for jigsaw puzzle lovers. Two coverlets made in the early nineteenth century make up this pinwheel design.
The Gooch Coverlet uses the unusual and highly skilled inlaid patchwork method, featuring a frame design with a large flower in the centre. The Billings Coverlet is made from fifteen frames and features meticulous mosaic patchwork, with printed cotton geometric shapes including hexagons, squares on point, kites and triangles.
Both coverlets belong to the Quilt Collection which is part of The Quilters' Guild.
Made in Britain, this puzzle has 1000 pieces and measures 69 x 48cm when complete. It has a beautiful tactile silk finish to the print giving optimum sheen without any glare and has a lovely smooth feel.
